My Name is B. Harinath .I live in Guruvagunta Village in Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh. I am 40 years old. We are 4 members in our family, myself my wife and 2 children. 10 years ago, Leprosy affected me, my sensation was gone, and I was left with deformity. Because of deformity, I am not able to work. 10 years back doctors told me to correct the deformity. I did not take it seriously and I was left with the claw hands. Because of my deformity, I was not able to work and earn, so I was not able to feed my family.

My wife was only the earning member and used to go labour work. I was totally depressed and had sleepless nights thinking that I could not support my family. I asked Damien Foundation for help they helped me to setup a grocery shop business, after setting up the shop my family are and myself happy. I was getting only Rs.3000/- disability pension, now I am able to earn Rs.8000/- to Rs.9000/- monthly.

Now, I am able to take care of my family and we are very happy. I prayed to God for help. God sent Damien foundation to help me and to set up Grocery shop.

I have purchased a bike now, which is helpful to transport goods to my shop. The sales in the shop are good. I am thankful to Damien Foundation.
