Damien Foundation has changed our lives.

My name is Inderdev I am hail from Bihar. I now live in Jeevan park Uttam Nagar New Delhi. My Wife is affected by TB. She got affected by TB for the 4 th time. My elder son had TB also affected by Covid and died. We had to struggle a lot we had so much of problem that we did not have food to eat. Damien Foundation helped me and gave us a pushcart and now I am selling vegetables and able to feed my family. Due to TB my wife’s health became very bad that she required Blood infusion we did not have any money to spend especially for her health. After 4 months her treatment started. I had to borrow money for blood infusion for my wife. Damien Foundation helped me to initiate the treatment for my wife. In am also disabled since a wall fell on me in the year 2013 and had multiple bone fractures. Now I am just managing to walk and selling the vegetables with help of my son to feed my family. Further I am suffering from Asthma and have breathing difficulties. Earlier I need to borrow to even feed my family. Now I am able to earn Rs.250/- to 300/- per day so I am able to support and feed my family without borrowing from others. Today with all the support of Damien Foundation I am able sell vegetables and have a sustained income and run the family. I Wholeheartedly thank Damien Foundation for all the support which has changed our life and we are happy.
