This project is one of the own projects implemented in partnership with the Government of Bihar since the year 2014. This lab is accredited under RNTCP for Culture and DST to diagnose Drug Resistant Tuberculosis through Molecular Technology with BSL III standard. The Laboratory has both Genotypic & Phenotypic Technology to detect M.TB for diagnosis, follow-up by Solid Culture (LJ)/Liquid Culture (LC). This lab caters its services to 11 districts in Bihar and covers a population of about 55 million. The lab follows external quality assessment test regularly to provide consistent results.
